Description
Abstract
A continuación introducimos,
This paper is a first step in the exploration of emotions and their importance in education. Taking a naturalistic explanatory approach, we emphasize the fundamental role of the body and the brain to generate emotions and their phylogenetic basis. Based on Antonio Damasio’s theories, we analyse the relationship between emotions and feelings. Then taking into account the primatology studies by Michael Tomasello, we introduce the role of culture, intentionality and learning communities in the development of the homo sapiens, their sociability, their education and their evolution. We conclude by claiming a complementary and naturalistic approach to explain and understand human beings: the braids of life.
