Abstract
En este trabajo abordamos algunos de los aspectos que presenta la relación entre lenguaje y política en los Diálogos de Platón. Tras haber ofrecido brevemente una interpretación de algunas tesis centrales de su filosofía del lenguaje, analizamos la fuerza política y moral que Platón reconoce al lenguaje, tomando en consideración determinados usos del lenguaje en la educación pro- puesta por el filósofo, así como en su crítica de la tragedia.
The following paper considers some aspects of the relation between language and politics in Plato’s. After a brief interpretation of some of the theses of Plato’s philosophy of language, the paper analyses the political and moral power that Plato identifies in language, and ponders specific uses of language proposed by Plato in education, and his critique of tragedy.
