Abstract
En este artículo reflexionamos sobre el impacto de la Covid-19 en los trabajos de cuidados a personas
en situación de dependencia realizado en los entornos domésticos en España, concretamente los
Servicios de Ayuda a Domicilio (SAD). Mediante una metodología cualitativa, hemos recogido las
experiencias y percepciones de gestores, representantes sindicales y trabajadoras del SAD para incidir en
las limitaciones y oportunidades de la crisis en la realización de su labor, teniendo en cuenta el ámbito
privado donde se desarrolla esta actividad y la falta de valoración social de estos trabajos. Así, aunque la
pandemia ha vuelto a subrayar la precariedad y feminización de los trabajos de cuidados, también ha
evidenciado su importancia social y económica
In this article we reflect on the impact of Covid-19 on care work for people in a situation of dependency carried out in domestic environments in Spain, specifically the Home Help Services (SAD). Using a qualitative methodology and on the one hand, we have collected the experiences and perceptions of managers, unions and SAD workers to highlight the limitations and opportunities of the crisis in carrying out their work; and on the other hand, taking into account the private sphere where this activity takes place and the lack of social appreciation of these works. Thus, although the pandemic has once again underlined the precariousness and feminization of care work, it has also evidenced its social and economic importance
