Abstract
La identidad se convierte en una realidad amenazada o limitada con la llegada de nuevos
planteamientos en metafísica a finales del siglo XIX y en el siglo XX. Pero esto no quiere
decir que no pueda ser replanteada en otros términos que eliminen de ella su propensión
a generar problemas y paradojas, in aras de producir una idea con la que puedan
manejarse los movimientos emancipadores. Así, puede pensarse una noción de identidad
como agencia que dependa de dos capacidades: la de narrar y la de imaginar. Agencia
que depende de la condición artefactual y mutable de la realidad humana. Es así, que
hemos de hablar de una identidad ciborg que dé pie a una oposición a una cultura y
sociedad (la contemporánea) que limita las posibilidades de subjetivación de los
colectivos oprimidos.
Identity becomes a restricted or menaced reality with the emergence of new metaphysic’s approach at the end of 19th Century and in the 20th Century. Nonetheless, this does not imply that it could not be restated in other terms with the purpose of raising an applicable idea for the emancipation movements. Those terms can remove the tendency of the identity concept to produce problems and paradoxes. Thereby, it is possible to think an identity idea as agency that depends on two capabilities: that of narrating and that of imagining. Moreover, agency depends on the artifactual and mutable condition of human reality. Thus, we should talk about a cyborg identity which allows an opposition to a society and culture (the contemporaneous culture) that limits the subjectivation possibilities of oppressed groups.
