Abstract
Este artículo plantea una lectura crítica sobre el uso de los dispositivos
documentales en la re-exposición de arte contemporáneo en museos y centros de arte, así como de la presentación cosificada de las piezas originales. Por otra parte, se analizan ejemplos del uso didáctico de la copia como alternativa para conseguir una interactuación con el espectador, situación inviable con piezas originales debido a los problemas de conservación que esto ocasionaría.
This paper presents a critical reading of the use of documentary apparatus in the re-exhibition of contemporary art in museums and art centres, as well as the presentation of the original works as objects. Moreover, we analyse examples of the educational use of copies as a legitimate alternative to achieve interaction with the audience, something that would entail a rather troubling situation with the original works because of the underlying problems of conservation.
