Description
Abstract
The CUTIE Project (Competences for Universities using Technology in Education and Institutional Empowerment) is a European initiative aimed at enhancing teachers' digital competences in higher education through strategic approaches at both institutional and departmental levels. Recognizing the crucial role of student inclusion, CUTIE emphasizes co-creation and partnerships with students to improve and promote digital competence among educators. To facilitate this, Work Package 3 (WP3) conducted an extensive literature review to identify gaps and best practices in co-creation methods. The findings highlight major themes and unexplored areas in existing literature, drawing on global insights from the past 15 years. This document is a concise summary designed for teams or individuals seeking to enhance student engagement in educational transformation, focusing on key questions related to co-creation and partnership: main aspects in academic literature, theoretical foundations, benefits, challenges, implementation tips, and practical activities. It also details the review process, source selection, and the use of AI in the creation of the summaries. The aim of this deliverable is to provide an initial guide with ample references for further exploration.
