Abstract
Art and its various representations provide one of the most effective tools for the dissemination of the cultural landscape. The close relationship that art and landscape have maintained over time plays a key role in the identification, characterisation and protection of the cultural landscape as a heritage element. The concept of landscape has been a much-discussed issue among the very disciplines that deal with the analysis of its characteristics, evolution and history; but the point of connection between all of them is the inclusion of its lived component, a key element of the concept of cultural landscape. Artists with their holistic training are able to interpret and approach these cultural landscapes from different approaches that can be adjusted to those established by anthropological studies of the landscape.
