Description
Abstract
VI a.C. – mediados del s. V a.C.)
consideramos posible inferir relaciones sociales
de producción, en definitiva, el contenido social
implícito a estas, asignatura pendiente de estas
manifestaciones.
This work presents all the pre-Roman sculptures dated from the Ancient Iberian period (end of the 6th century BC – mid 5th century BC) documented in the province of Albacete. The goal of this compilation is to evaluate all the work involved in their carving from a productive point of view. That is, from the extraction of the stone to its use in an architectural structure. Through this analysis we consider it possible to infer the social relations of production, in short, the implicit social content of these sculptures, which is a pending issue for these manifestations. This study has made it possible to recognise different specific works in this productive cycle, making it possible to infer areas of activity and their implicit social content. This work serves to expose the problems implicit in the study of this materiality and as a first step towards the progress of research into the productive question.
