Abstract
La historia oral se muestra como una excelente vía a la hora de tratar la temática de las migraciones contemporáneas en las aulas de Educación Secundaria Obligatoria, ya que posibilita el hecho de mostrar las ciencias sociales como un conocimiento abierto y en construcción, al tiempo que los alumnos construyen su propio conocimiento sin intermediarios, lo que les facilita la asimilación y comprensión de los contenidos a trabajar. En este sentido, la Región de Murcia ha pasado en pocos decenios de ser región emisora de emigración a zona receptora, lo que hace muy interesante el uso de las fuentes orales en el estudio de dicha realidad, permitiendo a los discentes desarrollar procedimientos de indagación y actitudes críticas hacia este fenómeno.
Oral history is shown as an excellent way to work with the issue of contemporary migration in the classrooms of Secondary Education, because it enables the displaying of the social sciences as an open knowledge and under construction, while the students construct their own knowledge without intermediaries, which facilitates the assimilation and understanding of the content to work. In this regard, the Region of Murcia is no longer migrant-sending, however it has become immigration receiving region only in a few decades, which makes it very interesting the use of oral sources in the study of this reality, allowing learners develop methods of inquiry and critical attitudes towards this phenomenon.
