Abstract
The body as real and symbolic territory. In recent decades, philosophy and theory focused on this space crossed by many different variables revealing the ways in which discourses of culture have stepped on it. Art has added to these concerns. I come here some projects of Latin American women artists who reflect on issues such as identity, violence, disease, all huge importance for the life of the subjects. These are critical proposals and disobedient, through which their authors seek to expose to erradícate, to reveal to mean otherwise.
