Abstract
Este trabajo pone de manifiesto las condiciones que debe reunir una escuela pública para cumplir el valor de lo público. Por eso, hablar de escuela pública es hablar de justicia social y de equidad en educación, y de una escuela de calidad para todos y todas. Hoy en día en la escuela publica es necesario y urgente reflexionar y hacer cambios didácticos en el papel del docente, en el discente y en el currículum.
En coherencia con ello, se presenta el Proyecto Roma como modelo educativo y de investigación alternativo que cumple con los Derechos Humanos y busca la mejora de la escuela pública.
This paper highlights the conditions to be met by a school in order to become a state school Talking about state education means talking about social justice and equity in education and high-quality schools for all. Nowadays, it is necessary and urgent to reflect and make dereeducational changes in our state schools regarding the role of teachers, the role of learners and the curriculum. In line with this thinking, we present the Roma Project as an alternative educational and research model that respects human rights and strives to improve state education.
