Abstract
En este artículo se discuten dos lecturas frecuentes del Ión platónico. En primer lugar, la postura que defiende que en ese diálogo el binomio "inspiración y technê" haría referencia a dos contenidos diferentes (por ejemplo, a un fenómeno psicológico irracional, de un lado, y por otro a un conocimiento técnico racional). En segundo lugar, se discute también la tesis de que el referente de este binomio sería el fenómeno de la creación artística. En este marco, se examinan dos posturas recientes relativas a esta temática (Büttner, 2011 and Cappuccino, 2011 and 2005) y se discuten algunos de sus resultados.
Two frequent readings of Plato's Ion are discussed in this paper. Firstly, the position which states that in this dialogue the pairing “inspiration and technê” refers to two different contents (e.g., an irrational psychological phenomenon, on the one hand, and a rational technical knowledge, on the other). Secondly, the thesis of the phenomenon of artistic creation being the referent of this pairing is advanced as well. In this framework, two recent views related to this issue (Büttner, 2011; Cappuccino, 2011 and 2005) are presented, and some of the results from these opinions are discussed.
