Abstract
This paper seeks to delve into some fundamental elements that explain the construction of political positions and that no project, especially one that has to do with the ecological transformation of society, can afford not to take into account. The fundamental reasoning is the following: science, facts and evidence, by themselves, do not become a political support in favor of taking the necessary measures. For this reason, it is pertinent to unpack what we understand by the functioning of human mechanics, in order to question the approaches that insist on separating emotion and reason, belief and reasoning, truth and politics. Considering the political dimension of ecology also implies assuming dimensions that are sometimes discarded at first.
