Abstract
En este proyecto, se ha llevado a cabo un estudio del nivel de regulación emocional, inteligencia emocional y empatía de los estudiantes del IES Ruiz de Alda de San Javier (Murcia) según el sexo de dichos estudiantes. Los participantes del análisis son 790 estudiantes de los que 410 son mujeres, 369 hombres y 11 personas de género no binario. Los instrumentos utilizados para la recogida de información fueron la Escala de Inteligencia Emocional Wong-Law (WLEIS) para medir la Inteligencia emocional (IE), Difficulties in Emotion Regulation Scale (DERS) para medir la regulación emocional e Interpersonal Reactivity Index (IRI) para medir la empatía. Los resultados de la investigación muestran que existen diferencias estadísticamente significativas en función del sexo en empatía, inteligencia emocional y regulación emocional.
