Description
Abstract
vertiente funcional.
This paper proposes an investigation based on the experimental method to know what the material culture was like around the military chivalry of the 11th century (1020-1080), when this feudal institution appeared. The study reconstructs elements of civil and military use, and implements a process to learn how the cavalry acted in military operations, tactics and techniques, alluding to military technology, war horsemanship, biomechanical conditioning factors and the limitations of the historical method to explain the chivalric phenomenon in its functional aspect.
