Abstract
Partiendo de algunos conceptos clave de la obra de Mark Fisher, el artículo desarrolla
su análisis en tres pasos. En primer lugar, se enfoca en las redes sociales, concentrándose en
diferentes figuras que se han conceptualizado, para explicar diferentes posiciones discursivas
comunes en el uso de esas redes sociales. En segundo lugar, el artículo localiza algunos debates
que han cristalizado diferentes “guerras culturales” en los últimos años. Estas consideraciones
desembocan en el último plano de análisis, el trazado de un mapa ideológico del presente,
enfocado en tres corrientes: el centrismo liberal, las derechas posfascistas, y la izquierda
reaccionaria. El artículo concluye presentando algunas cuestiones que pueden ser de importancia
para confrontar esas tres corrientes.
Starting from some key concepts in Mark Fisher´s work, the article develops its analysis throughout three steps. First, it focuses on social media and several figures that have been conceptualized to explain distinct discursive positions within the uses of social media. Second, the article locate several debates turned into “cultural wars” within the last few years. These considerations lead into the last plane of analysis, which consists of a mapping of the ideological present, focused in three main ideological currents: liberal centrism, postfascist right, and the reactionary left. The article concludes by presenting some questions deemed crucial to confront those three ideological currents.
