Abstract
El presente estudio analiza La Folie Elisa (2018) de Gwenaëlle Aubry, donde la locura se convierte en una poética de la disonancia que entrelaza traumas íntimos y violencias colectivas. Nos preguntamos cómo la novela transforma la locura en un lenguaje de la crisis, articulando heridas personales y fracturas sociales a través de un espacio liminal, de voces polifónicas y de una memoria fragmentada. El objetivo de este trabajo es explorar esta redefinición de la locura como forma de resistencia poética y política. A partir de Bachelard, Caruth y Kristeva, examinamos la casa-locura, refugio orgánico de cuatro mujeres traumatizadas: Emy, Sarah, Ariane e Irini. Su polifonía revela diversas fisuras: disociación, danza-memoria, palabra en crisis, silencio exiliado. En el plano político, mostramos que la locura encarna una forma de disidencia mediante la desobediencia de Ariane, la sororidad y la memoria de Irini. Al rechazar la patologización, Aubry construye un contrarrelato en el que la disonancia de las mujeres marginadas reinventa un mundo posible.
Abstract: This study analyzes La Folie Elisa (2018) by Gwenaëlle Aubry, in which madness becomes a poetics of dissonance, linking personal traumas and collective violence. Our reflection explores how the novel transforms madness into a language of crisis, connecting individual wounds and societal fractures through a liminal space, polyphonic voices, and fragmented memory. The study aims to investigate this redefinition of madness as poetic and political resistance. Drawing on Bachelard, Caruth, and Kristeva, we examine the "madness-house," an organic refuge for four traumatized women: Emy, Sarah, Ariane, and Irini. Their polyphony reveals fractures—dissociation, embodied memory, discursive crisis, and exiled silence. From a political perspective, our analysis shows that madness becomes a form of dissidence through Ariane’s defiance, the women’s sorority, and Irini’s memory. Rejecting pathologization, Aubry crafts a counter-narrative in which the dissonance of marginalized voices reimagines a possible world.
