Description
Abstract
Abstract: In this paper we would analyze a controversy that troubles the praxis and the theory of the feminism in the post-modernity. We will focus on the critic that Seyla Benhabib addresses to Judith Butler. The first one holds that the postmodern dissolution of the subject is incompatible with the feminism, understood as an emancipator movement; in the other hand, Butler argues that a new sort of political feminism is desirable to contest the exclusionary reifications of gender and identity.
