Description
Abstract
internacional
It is well known that translators and readers do not like the foot notes. There are opinions in favor and against their use and regarding literary translation they have been rejected as they might spoil the pleasure of reading. However, in other type of texts, such as philosophical texts, this issue has not been clarified up to now and further research is required.for specific purposes. Our proposal is focused on communication in the field of tourism and aims to foster linguistic and communicative skills our students are likely to develop th rough linguistic mediation. Specifically, we will present a learning activity in which students have to act as linguistic mediators between Spanish and Italian, in the framework of the organization of an international conference.
