Abstract
Resumen: Se pretende exponer aquí una de las teorías de lo real más provechosas y esclarecedoras en
torno a la relación de lo real y las manifestaciones artísticas contemporáneas, así como a la crítica
situación en la que dicha conexión ha sido colocada. Esta teoría, propuesta por el filósofo francés
Clément Rosset, servirá aquí como punto de apoyo con el que abrir nuevas vías cognoscitivas en el
terreno de la Estética y la Teoría de las artes. Así, y tras una breve exposición de qué es lo que entiende
Rosset por arte y qué por real, estableceremos el estatuto que, desde dicha teoría, puede mantener el arte
contemporáneo con respecto a lo real.
Abstract: This paper pretends to present one of the most profitable and enlightening theories about the relationship between the real and contemporary artistic expressions, as well as the critical situation in which that connection has been located. This is the proposal of french philosopher Clément Rosset, that will be taken as supporting point in order to open new cognitive ways in the field of Aesthetics and Arts Theory. In this way, after a short exposition of what Rosset understands by art and by the real, we will set the statute that Contemporary Art is able to maintain with it, based on that theory of the real.
