Abstract
Este artículo recoge la experiencia de un grupo de docentes
de Educación Física que participaron durante más de una
veintena de años en un programa de formación cooperativa
a través de un Seminario de Investigación-Acción. Se trata
de dar a conocer cuál fue el grado de consecución de los
objetivos inicialmente previstos, así como el desarrollo de
dicha experiencia, la opinión de estos docentes sobre la (I.-
A.) como medio de formación permanente y qué repercusión
ha tenido tanto en su vida profesional como personal. Los
resultados muestran el enriquecimiento profesional y personal
que, para los participantes en el (S. I.-A.) y su alumnado, ha
representado participar en un proceso de investigación/docencia/
formación permanente; sin ocultar las dificultades y
decepciones que se tuvieron que superar. Estos resultados
han surgido de un grupo de discusión en el que participaron
algunos de esos profesores, destacando dicha experiencia
formativa como una alternativa eficaz y satisfactoria para el
desarrollo personal y profesional de los docentes.
This article describes the experience of a group of teachers of Physical education who took part in a cooperative training programme through a research- action seminar for more than twenty years. The aim of the article is to highlight the fulfilment of the designed goals, the development of the experience, the teachers’opinion about the (I.-A.) as a means of continuing training and its influence on their private lives. The research based on the above mentioned project carried out by teachers and pupils reveals the personal and professional enrichment achieved by their participation in that training process, without attempting to hide the difficulties and disappointments which they had to overcome. Some of the participants came to the conclusion that such educational experience was an effective and rewarding way for teachers to develop both personally and professionally.
