Abstract
En los últimos años se constata un aumento de la práctica del fútbol por parte de la mujer. Este hecho demanda análisis desde las diferentes áreas científicas, desde las que se aborda el hecho deportivo. En este trabajo se pretende esbozar algunas de las cuestiones más relevantes, tanto desde el campo aplicado de la psicología, como de la intervención específica. Se propone discutir acerca de las potenciales diferencias de género respecto al perfil psicológico del deportista. Se plantean algunas diferencias entre chicos y chicas jóvenes futbolistas respecto a procesos motivacionales. Y, por último, se presenta el entrenamiento psicológico que se realiza con el equipo femenino del Rayo Vallecano de Madrid S.A.D
In the last years an increase of the practice of the soccer is verified on the part of the woman. This fact demands analysis from the different scientific areas, from those that the sport fact is approached. In this work it is sought to sketch some of the most outstanding questions, so much from the applied field of the psychology, as of the specific intervention. He/she intends to discuss about the potentials gender differences regarding the sportsman's psychological profile. They think about some differences between boys and girls young footballers regarding processes motivationals. And, lastly, the psychological training is presented that is carried out with the feminine team of the Rayo Vallecano de Madrid S.A.D
