Abstract
La Ley Orgánica 5/2024, de 11 de noviembre, del Derecho de defensa fue publicada en el BOE núm. 275, de 14 de noviembre. Esta norma constituye un claro avance en los derechos de los justiciables tanto en su relación con los profesionales de la abogacía como en relación con los tribunales ante los que se ventila el conflicto que les afecta. La Ley también regula diversas cuestiones que resultan de interés para los laboralistas como por ejemplo la garantía de indemnidad y los derechos de los profesionales de la abogacía a la conciliación y disfrute de permisos de maternidad y paternidad.
Abstract: The Organic Law 5/2024, of November 11, on the Right of Defense was published in the Official State Gazette No. 275, of November 14. This law constitutes a clear advance in the rights of the litigants both in their relationship with their legal counsel and in their relationship with the courts before which will solve their conflict. The Law also covers several issues that are of interest to employment law specialists, such as the guarantee of indemnity and the rights of lawyers to conciliation and enjoyment of maternity and paternity leave.
