Description
Abstract
The paper deals with the subject of research in social work. Research is a key element of the intervention process. The analysis waw performed on 106 records obtained from the TESEO database of PhD theses. Descriptive statistics were used to describe the sample of thesis and the main charac-teristics analyzed. One of the main conclusions of our work shows that, despite the increase in the number of theses related to social work in the last decade, there is a strong risk of indefiniteness of the object of study of social work towards the object of other social sciences such as sociology, anthropol-ogy or psychology.
