Abstract
The b11rnout is a· term variously .defined. lt can mean, at the starting, an illness resulting from big and continous efforts at work. The MBI (Maslach Burnout lnventory) is a very generalized scale to evaluare the leve! of bumout. lt presents three dimensions to be related to burnout term: exha11Stion, despersonalization and negative personal acomplishment. Recent works, ·nevenheless, point out the first of them as the most appropiate. In this paper we have developped a new scale focused in the first dimension and our social and cultural context: the llPB (Escala para la Evaluación del Burnout Profesional). llarly psychometrics analyses s11pport the fitness to concept of burnout more currently accepted.
