In this article we present a piece of research showing the impact of the implementation of the European credits related to the Bolonia process in one Spanish university. We want to analyse the lecturer activity from the normative side -believes and preferences- and the operative side -capacities and teaching methodologies- trying sight of coherence among themselves. With one questionnaire, which was responded by 417 lecturers, we analyzed university mission, competences to develop, teaching methodologies, subject's assessment, and the influence of university degree and somme other variables on all of these elements. We found coherences among university mission and competences to develop, but the relation between believes and activities is highly influenced by the context, above all by the university degree.
