Abstract
El objetivo del presente estudio es conocer la opinión de los directivos sobre el reglamento y el sistema de competición actual en baloncesto en categoría preinfantil. Se desarrolló un diseño de tipo cualitativo, en el que se realizaron entrevistas semi-estructuradas a 12 directivos de baloncesto. El análisis de los datos mostró los siguientes resultados: a) los directivos están muy satisfechos con el tamaño del balón, la distancia de la línea de tiro libre y la distribución en cuatro periodos; b) los directivos no están nada satisfechos con la distancia de la línea de tres puntos, la altura de las canastas, que no se prohíban ciertas defensas y el tiempo de juego; c) Las reglas deben permitir la máxima participación de los jugadores y en las mejores condiciones posibles; d) el 75% de los directivos opina que el tipo de competición que existe actualmente no es el mejor para dicha categoría. ------------
The aim of this study is to find out the opinion of managements about the rules and competition system in basketball U-14. A qualitative design was developed, in which semi-structured interviews were conducted with 12 basketball managements. Analysis data showed the following results: a) managers are very satisfied with the size of the ball, the distance from the free throw line and the distribution over four periods; b) managers are not satisfied at all with the rules referring to the distance from the three-point line, the height of the baskets, the fact that certain defences are not prohibited and playing time; c) The rules must allow the maximum participation of players, and in the best possible conditions; d) 75% of managements consider that the type of competition currently existing is not the best for that category
