dc.description.abstract	Uno de los problemas centrales de los estudios pedagógicos lo constituye la formación del maestro. A través de los años los programas de formación de maestros se han basado en estudios culturales, principios filosóficos y experiencia docente. Actualmente este sistema sigue vigente. La problemática de ambos componentes curriculares se centra en la prioridad de los mismos. Sin embargo creemos que las PRACTICAS DE ENSEÑANZA constituyen el componente curricular principal en la preparación profesional de los profesores. El objeto de estudio hace referencia a la formación práctica de los futuros maestros en las Escuelas Universitarias. Las variables más destacadas en el trabajo son las siguientes: Adecuación del plan de estudios, planificación del periodo de prácticas y evaluación del mismo. Como resultados destacamos que los encuestados conceden mucha importancia a este componente curricular de las prácticas docentes y subrayan la necesidad de revisar el actual plan de estudios.	es
dc.description.abstract	One of the central problems in the pedagogical sciences is the education of the teacher. The uaining curriculum developed throughout the years has concentrated on cultural knowledge as well as peycho-and sociopedagogical principles. At present an effort is being made at reforms which define a clear profile of the roles and relevant functions of the teacher. What is referred to as student teaching deals with a formative component pof the curriculum wwiht has experienced an endless number of changes throughout history. Today the debate centers on whether teacher education should he oriented toward the adquisition of thecniques and skills or, instead, toward a global unsderstanding of pedagogical principles. Student teaching is the axis around which ahould revolve the preparation of the teacher in all theoritical an practical aspects. Our word concerns the importance of the teacher preparation of student teachers, goals of the teacher education, the methods courses provived and the role wich people and resources play in influencing teacher education. We attempt to answer the following: in teacher training, what is the degree of incidence associated with general studies, the planning of practical teacher training and the evaluation system used? The results of empirical student demostrate the urgent necessity to concede to student teaching the influence, in conjunction wit curricular areas and revision os the actual curriculum, to adapt these elements to the main priority: the practical training of the teachers.	es
