Description
Abstract
En la actualidad, el español cuenta con la locución adverbial/adjetival a lo bonzo, nacida en la segunda mitad de los años sesenta y cuyo componente nominal es un japonesismo. El presente artículo pretende realizar, por primera vez en nuestro idioma, un estudio exhaustivo sobre esta construcción propia de la lengua española: sus características morfológicas, combinatorias, semánticas, de uso, dialectales e históricas.
The Spanish adverb/adjective phrase a lo bonzo, which was first used in the second half of the 1960s, includes a Japanese loanword as nominal element. This article aims to carry out the first exhaustive study of this construction. The study deals with various aspects of the expression under scrutiny, including its morphology, its combinatory properties, its meaning, its use, and its dialectal and historical characteristics.
