Abstract
En este artículo se reflexiona
sobre la tradición japonesa del
haiku y su transmisión en la literatura
hispanoamericana, más concretamente
en la poesía del argentino Jorge Luis
Borges. A partir de los haikus de Basho,
uno de los maestros de la estrofa
en la literatura japonesa del siglo XVII,
se examinan los haikus escritos por
Borges, que a su vez fueron traducidos
por el autor de este artículo a modo
de ensayo.
This article reflects on Japanese haiku tradition and its transmission in American literature, specifically poetry of Argentine Jorge Luis Borges. From the haiku of Basho, one of the masters of the stanza in Japanese literature of the seventeenth century, haikus written by Borges that also were translated by the author of this article on a trial are discussed.
