italianas que
formaron parte de la célebre
Academia
de la Arcadia
en Roma. El estudio de las poesías revela
datos interesantes y nuevas aportaciones a la tradición literaria del Settecento debido a la
existencia de rasgos propios apreciables en la escritura femenina y ausentes en los textos
escrito
s por hombres.
A través de la poesía,
le pastorelle
consolidan una tradición literaria
alternativa que se construye de manera paralela al canon literario de la época.
The following article intends to shed light on the works of Italian poetesses which belonged to Rome’s prestigious Arcadia Academy. The study of their poetry reveals interesting data as well as new contributions to the literary tradition of the Settecento, due to the existence of noticeable idiosyncratic characteristics in women’s writing, not present in texts written by men. By means of poetry, le pastorelle consolidate an alternative literary tradition which is built in parallel to the literary canon of the era
