An endless story, waiting for the dreamed and quick vaccine. The pandemic continued to be a health alert and causing the serious socioeconomic crisis, to a greater or lesser degree, in Spain and the rest of the world. It was believed to have been overcome, or at least controlled, during the summer of 2020, but at the end of the same, contagions reappeared (as before) and deaths (but not as before). Social fear remained, the forecasts were getting worse and the only solution was that vaccination. For this reason, in this article we analyze, from the supposedly objective and historical lessons of Ranke, the so-called Second Wave in Spain, between the political debate and citizen psychosis; phase of the Coronavirus crisis in our country that for many media, experts and studies, showed that Spain is, or could be, a “failed state”.
