dc.description.abstract	El profesorado participante en las comunidades virtuales de aprendizaje, accede y comparte información para su aprovechamiento didáctico, por lo que nos planteamos ¿cómo y por qué participan en dichas comunidades y cuál es su utilidad real? El objetivo ha sido indagar sobre la participación de los docentes de Educación Primaria en la comunidad virtual English Teachers Exchange Network (ETEN) para conocer los recursos que utilizan en su actividad docente. En el desarrollo de esta investigación cualitativa se contó con la valoración de maestros de Lengua Extranjera (inglés) pertenecientes a la citada comunidad que nos proporcionaron, mediante la realización de la entrevista semiestructurada para comprender e interpretar su realidad, desde sus autopercepciones y opiniones. Los resultados señalan que esta comunidad virtual tiene un impacto social considerable porque conecta con personas con las que se identifican, ofertan y reciben propuestas, retroalimentan y pueden aprender entre ellos; lo que les enriquece, les reactiva y les hace percibir la práctica educativa motivante, útil y productiva para el docente lo que supone que este espacio colaborativo ofrece más recursos disponibles. La participación en este entorno de aprendizaje virtual afectan al desarrollo profesional y personal de los docentes, favoreciendo nuevos aprendizajes y dinámicas en el aula motivadoras, significativas y contextualizadas al aprendizaje del alumando.
dc.description.abstract	Teachers participating in virtual learning communities access and share information for their didactic use, so we ask ourselves how and why do our teachers participate in these communities and what is their real use? The objective has been to inquire about the participation of Primary Education teachers in the virtual community English Teachers Exchange Network (ETEN) to learn about the resources they use in their teaching activity. In the development of this qualitative research, we counted on the assessment of the Foreign Language teachers (English) belonging to the aforementioned community who provided us, by conducting the semi-structured interview to understand and interpret their reality, from their self-perceptions and opinions. The results indicate that this virtual community has a considerable social impact because it connects with people with whom they identify, offer and receive proposals, give feedback and can learn from each other; which enriches, reactivates and makes them perceive the motivating, useful and productive educational practice for the teacher, which means that this collaborative space offers more available resources. Participation in this virtual learning environment affects the professional and personal development of teachers, favoring new learning and dynamics in the classroom that are motivating, meaningful and contextualized to the student's learning
