Abstract
El artículo refleja la esencia de la formación del profesional de la Educación Preescolar en Cuba. Haciendo énfasis en las transformaciones operadas en sus diferentes diseños curriculares a partir del perfeccionamiento educacional del país.
In this article the writer refelcts on the humanistic component of the curriculum. This is an issue involved in the cross-disciplinary reflection of all the branches of science, which, as disciplines, form the curricular design in the educational centres. The humanistic component of the curriculum, syllabuses and study plans, refers to knowledge, abilities, values, methods and procedures. These should allow individuals to relate to others, as well as to behave with a deep humanistic sense, in which man's value as a human being, is the core of an ideological values system which is social and individual, oriented to a transforming activity.
