dc.description.abstract	El encuentro de “lo sonoro y lo visual” da origen a dos prácticas diferentes que son el arte sonoro y la escultura sonora. El primero privilegia el aspecto auditivo proponiendo obras intangibles; la segunda produce esculturas, máquinas u objetos cuyos componentes materiales emiten sonidos. Este artículo tiene como objetivo principal comprender los acontecimientos que llevan a incorporar el sonido en la escultura, y los usos que ésta hace del mismo. Se privilegian aquellos ejemplos de artistas y de obras que utilizan el movimiento para producir ruidos y sonidos, que introducen fenómenos inmateriales dinámicos como son el tiempo y el ritmo	es
dc.description.abstract	ABSTRACT: The encounter of “sounds and visuals” finds its origin in two different practices which comprise sound art and sound sculptures. The first of these favors the auditory aspects proposing intangible works; the second produces sculptures, machines or objects whose material components emit sounds. This article’s main objective is to understand the elements that allow the integration of sound into sculptures, and the uses that this practice creates in doing so. An emphasis is put on specific examples of artists and their works that use movement to produce noises and sounds that introduce dynamic immaterial phenomenon such as time and rhythm.	es
