Abstract
La notable aparición de Centros Bilingües en nuestra sociedad cobra gran relevancia a nivel mundial, siendo el inglés un idioma prioritario en la mayoría de ellos y en algunas disciplinas, como es el caso de la psicomotricidad en Educación Infantil, impartidas en dicho idioma. El objetivo de la investigación fue conocer el impacto que tienen las canciones motrices en inglés en el desarrollo del infante. El diseño se enmarca en el paradigma de la investigación-acción y el estudio de caso, con una metodología mixta cualitativa-cuantitativa, tomando el análisis de contenido y, posteriormente, con la técnica del diseño experimental (pretest-experimento-postest). El estudio se ha realizado en un aula de 4 años en un centro bilingüe de la localidad de Toledo en España. A partir de los resultados se puede inferir que las canciones motrices en inglés fortalecen el desarrollo del niño de 4 años a nivel físico, social, afectivo e intelectual, siendo mayor su respuesta a un mayor conocimiento de las mismas
Nowadays, the considerable appearance of Bilingual Schools in our society acquires great relevance over the world, being English the priority language in most of them. That’s why, some disciplines, such as psychomotricity in Pre-Primary Education, are taught in this language. The objective of the research was to know the impact that Movement English Songs have on the development of the infant. The design is framed in the action research and case study paradigm, with a mixed qualitative-quantitative methodology, taking the content analysis and, later, with the experimental design technique (pretest-experiment-post-test). The study was carried out in a 4-year-old classroom in a bilingual centre in the town of Toledo in Spain. From the results, it can be inferred that Movement English Songs strengthen the development of the 4-year-old child at a physical, social, emotional and intellectual level, being more responsive to a greater knowledge of them
