Description
Abstract
More than three decades ago, an educational model based on values appeared, the Roma Project. This model is committed to state schools, the struggle for social justice and equity, diversity in the broadest sense of the word and the freedom and dignity of people; a model that is carried out every day in classrooms in different educational levels in cooperation with the entire educational community. The teachers of the Roma Project understand that only through this strong commitment—that continues over time—real, possible and sustainable changes and transformations in the quality of teaching and learning processes can be made. In this sense, the Roma Project (with its theoretical foundations, principles and strategies of action) aims at education understood as a transformation process in conviviality.
