Abstract
El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo realizar un estudio
sobre las nuevas tecnologías aplicadas al turismo, centrándose en la
utilización de una nueva herramienta tecnológica móvil de gran
potencial para el sector, la realidad aumentada (RA). Para alcanzar
dicho objetivo se ha realizado un estudio sobre su impacto,
considerando todas sus aplicaciones, en el ámbito del turismo. Tras
el estudio llevado a cabo, se ha concluido que la RA cubre ciertas
necesidades que el turista pueda tener y, además, enriquece su
vivencia en la práctica turística. Sin embargo, se ha detectado una
necesidad de mejora de la RA, así como de una mayor promoción
por parte de los destinos turísticos, debido a que aún impera cierto
desconocimiento por parte de los destinatarios finales de estas
herramientas tecnológicas.
ABSTRACT: This paper aims to conduct a study on new technologies applied to tourism, focusing on the use of a new technological tool of great potential for the sector, augmented reality (AR). To achieve this objective, has made a study of its impact, considering all applications in the field of tourism. After the study that was carried out, it has been concluded that the AR covers certain needs that tourists may have and also enriched his experience in tourism practice. However, it was detected a need for improvement in AR, as well as increased promotion of tourist destinations because it still reigns true ignorance on the part of the recipients of these technological tools.
