Abstract
Se analiza la relación entre edad y dos aptitudes psicomotoras (velocidad de anticipación y coordinación bimanual visomotora). Se ha utilizado para ello la batería DRIVER TEST en 551 adultos varones de cinco grupos de edad: (1) 61 sujetos entre 15 y 17 años, (2) 241 sujetos entre 18 y 37 años, (3) 131 entre 38 y 57 años, (4) 84 entre 58 y 71 años, y (5) 34 entre 72 y 84 años. No se hallan diferencias entre grupos de edad en la tarea de velocidad de anticipación (Experimento I), en contra de las hipótesis iniciales. En la tarea de coordinación visomotora (Experimento II), los dos grupos de mayor edad tienen peor ejecución que los más jóvenes, pero también los mayores presentan puntuaciones más dispersas que los jóvenes.
