Description
Abstract
One of the first steps to work on Intercultural Education is, no doubt, getting to know the reality of the other. Accordingly, we ask ourselves, what do we know about the history, customs and traditions of the gypsy people? Would we be educationally acting through stereotypes and prejudices? Our aims is thus to try to come closer to some of the aspects of their barely-known historical reality. A reality which can help us incorporate it into the own History of Spain and which, in turn, facilitates in the future our better understanding of their customs and traditions; in summary, coming a step closer towards coexistence.
