dc.description.abstractEl fenómeno migratorio en España se encuentra en continuo crecimiento. Este hecho supone que los centros educativos se configuren como espacios multiculturales a consecuencia de la escolarización de menores migrantes procedentes de otros países. Esta situación desemboca en una adecuación de la praxis docente a las singularidades del aula, requiriendo una actuación del profesorado desde una óptica intercultural. En el estudio que se presenta se han tomado como objetivos el conocer la formación complementaria de ámbito intercultural de los docentes de regiones transfronterizas, así como su capacidad de resolución de problemas y atención a la diversidad. Para ello, se ha seguido un método cuantitativo de tipo descriptivo y correlacional. Se ha escogido una muestra de 226 docentes de la Ciudad Autónoma de Ceuta (España). Como instrumento de recogida de datos se ha utilizado un cuestionario ad hoc. Los resultados muestran una percepción docente que revela una formación específica de carácter medio. Pese a ello, efectúan medidas para atender las necesidades de los discentes y se esfuerzan por resolver sus problemas, siendo estos principalmente el idioma, el desfase curricular y las relaciones con el grupo de iguales. Asimismo se ha verificado que la edad y los años de experiencia del profesorado no influyen en su formación, resolución de problemas y atención a la diversidad. Sin embargo, el género y el tipo de centro donde desarrollan la profesión docente sí que incide en tales variables estudiadas.es
dc.description.abstractThe migratory phenomenon in Spain is in continuous growth. This fact supposes that the educational centers are configured as multicultural spaces as a consequence of the schooling of migrant minors coming from other countries. This situation leads to an adaptation of the teaching practice to the singularities of the classroom, requiring a performance of teachers from an intercultural perspective. In the study that is presented, the purposes have been to know the complementary training of cross-cultural teachers in cross-border regions, as well as their ability to solve problems and attend to diversity. For this, a quantitative method of descriptive and correlational type has been followed. A sample of 226 teachers from the Autonomous City of Ceuta (Spain) was chosen. As an instrument for data collection, an ad hoc questionnaire was used. The results show a teaching perception that reveals a specific formation of medium character. Despite this, they take measures to meet the needs of the students and strive to solve their problems, these being mainly the language, the curriculum gap and relationships with the peer group. It has also been verified that the age and years of experience of the teaching staff do not influence their training, problem solving and attention to diversity. However, the gender and type of center where they develop the teaching profession does affect such variables studied.es
