This document presents the methodological work of the first survey conducted in the 28 countries of the EU with the aim of collecting direct information on the level of well-beingthat public infrastructure provides to European residents. The survey was conducted by the European Institute for Gender Equality, EIGE, within the framework of the project Benefits of Gender Equality, BGE, launched in 2012 and the later study was carriedout by a research group led by the University of Murcia, Spain
