Abstract
En este artículo analizamos el papel cumplido por Eduardo Astesano (un intelectual
expulsado del Partido Comunista Argentino), en el interior de una importante organización
empresarial de alcance regional entre los años 1946 y 1955. En primer lugar, examinamos las
principales ideas expuestas por Astesano en la Revista de la Federación Gremial del
Comercio e Industria de Rosario, una publicación mensual editada por la organización. En
particular, nos centramos en el lugar que estas ideas han tenido en el conjunto de su
producción intelectual. Describimos las tareas asumidas en el interior de esta organización,
en tanto asesor y colaborador de los principales líderes empresariales. Exponemos sus
posiciones en torno al papel de la “burguesía nacional”, una de las controversias centrales
que recorrieron el campo de la izquierda a partir del primer peronismo.
In this article we analyze the participation of Eduardo Astesano, an intellectual expelled of the Partido Comunista Argentino, in a relevant regional business association between 1946 and 1955. We examine the content of the articles published in the business Journal and its relevance within the framework of his intellectual production. We describe the role assumed as adviser of the business leaders. Last, we analyze the relationship between left intellectuals and Peronism around a controversial subject, the “national bourgeoisie”.
