La cultura material de la escuela y la educación patrimonial

Abstract

Este trabajo plantea la integración de la cultura de la escuela —un legado universal y en parte común en las sociedades escolarizadas— en las propuestas de educación patrimonial y de formación de la ciudadanía. Analiza cómo el patrimonio material e inmaterial de la escuela es el condensado matérico y simbólico de la tradición disponible en cuya memoria —que hay que reconstruir e interpretar— nos instalamos críticamente para orientar reflexivamente las sendas de sentido por las que se prolonga la historia efectual, o para liberarnos de ella.

This work tackles the interpretation of school culture —a universal legacy par tially common in educated societies— in the proposals of heritage and citizenship education. It shows how the material and no material school heritage is the material and symbolic outcome of tradition, in the memory of which —something to be re built and interpreted— we are settled and we aim at either directing, in a thoughtful way, the paths of meaning which factual history is going through, or releasing our selves from it.

Ce travail porte sur l’intégration de la culture de l’école —un universal héritage commun surtout dans les societés scolariseés— dans les propositions d’éducation patrimoniale. Il analyse comme l’héritage matérielle et inmatérielle de l’école est le resultat maté riel et symbolique de la tradition disponible dont la mémoire —qu’il faut réconstituer et interpréter— dans laquelle nous nous installons, d’une façon critique, pour orienter réflexivement les chemins par lesquels l’histoire évenémentielle se prolongue, ou pour nous libérer d’elle.
