| Resumen: | Résumé: L’oeuvre de Mistral Mirèio est un portrait de la vie paysanne de la Provence du XIXème siècle. Cet article veut analyser les premières traductions en français et en espagnol, réalisées par Mistral et Barallat y Falguera, de la terminologie des vêtements en vue de comparer comment la variété de termes locaux est reproduite en ces deux langues. Abstract: Mistral’s work Mirèio is a portrait of rural life in Provence in the 19th century. In this paper we are analysing clothing terminology in the first French and Spanish translations of this work, carried out by Mistral and Barallat y Falguera, with the aim of contrasting the diversity in local terms as they appear in these two languages. |
