La condición de los menores migrantes extranjeros (MENA) en Ribera (Sicilia)

Abstract

El objetivo principal de esta investigación fue realizar una actividad por observar la condición de "menores extranjeros no acompañados" en Sicilia, región autónoma de Italia y, en particular, Ribera, enclave mediterráneo y centro de la crisis de los refugiados. Los menores extranjeros no acompañados representan la humanidad más desesperada y necesitada, porque carecen de una figura paterna en una tierra cuyo idioma ni siquiera conocen, lejos de sus raíces y sus afectos (Giovannetti, 2008, 2009). Los menores, que emprenden la experiencia migratoria solos, están privados de afectos familiares e infantiles y el impacto con otras formas de vivir y pensar puede causar dificultades para su auto-representación y autoidentificación. Por esta razón, es fundamental orientar las políticas sociales y promover una acción de alfabetización para la socialización y la inclusión para la afirmación de la razonabilidad, el pensamiento positivo y una ética de aceptación, basada en la diversidad que une en lugar de dividida. El fenómeno social de los MENA ha planteado la cuestión de la inclusión de miles y miles de personas que buscan un empleo, un nuevo comienzo, una esperanza de integración en las sociedades de acogida, nuevos desafíos para su ciudadanía y para el sus muchas culturas (Accorinti, 2014; Bertozzi, 2008; Cachón, 2011; Escarbajal, 2015). El carácter multicultural de Italia y de España consiste en comunidades lingüísticas culturales diferentes e importantes (Fiorucci, Catarci, 2011), que con el tiempo han dado lugar a un profundo cambio social, cultural, político y económico (Consoli, 2009).

The main objective of this research was to conduct an activity with the aim of observing the condition of "unaccompanied foreign minors" in Sicily, a region of Italy, and in particular Ribera, Mediterranean enclave and center of the refugee crisis. Unaccompanied foreign minors represent the most desperate and needy humanity, since they lack a parental figure in a land of which they do not even know the language, far from their roots and their affections (Giovannetti, 2008, 2009). Minors, who undertake the migratory experience alone, are deprived of family and childhood affections and the impact with other ways of living and thinking can cause difficulties for their self-representation and self-identification. For this reason it is fundamental to orient social policies and promote an action of literacy to socialization and inclusion for the affirmation of reasonableness, positive thinking and an ethic of acceptance, based on which diversity unites rather than to divide. The social phenomenon of unaccompanied migrant minors has raised the question of the inclusion of thousands and thousands of people looking for a job, a new beginning, a hope of integration in the host societies, of new challenges for their citizenship and for the their many cultures (Accorinti, 2014; Bertozzi, 2008; Cachón, 2011; Escarbajal, 2015). The multicultural character of Italy, as of Spain, is made up of different and significant cultural linguistic communities (Fiorucci, Catarci, 2011), which over time have given rise to a profound social, cultural, political as well as economic change (Consoli, 2009 ).
