    This article reflects on the results of a research study into the participation of students in university management and government. It focuses on the opinions and perceptions of the teaching staff involved directly in the management of teaching. Relevant data provides a more complete view of student participation, which is a complex and multidimensional phenomenon. The interpretation of that data provides important information that helps explain some of the reasons for this low participation and leads to possible strategies to attempt to overturn this tendency.

    La utilización de los blogs como recurso educativo en el área de Lengua Castellana y Literatura

    The proliferation of the use of technology among high school students has contributed to their inclusion in the classroom. This paper analyzes the educational use of ICT in the area of Spanish language and literature and discusses some examples of activities that are in the network. Then, we describe a proposal, which is based on using a blog as an educational tool for the study of Baroque literature. The paper concludes with a description of the results of an assessment conducted by the students about their experience with the use of the blog.

    Análisis de las necesidades de la formación docente para contextos pluriculturales

    In order that an intercultural programming turns out to be a feasible debit to possess educational equipment adequately formed, that could answer to the elements understood in the educational legislation. For this positive development, it becomes necessary that the teacher possesses the pedagogic necessary abilities and shows positive attitudes that favor the integration of the culturally minority pupil. It has split of three basic elements in order that the teachers could develop an intercultural educational competition and, from them, one has proposed an educational specific and different formation for the familiar area of the learner, indispensable in the process of attainment of the intercultural abilities.

    Evaluación de un modelo de formación inicial de profesores para su adaptación al EEES. Incidencia del Portafolio

    After developing an innovative program to bring a course of university education, initial teacher training, to the EHEA, by applying our Emerging Instructional Model MED, including new methodologies and learning tasks to achieve new goals, we show the results of research concerning the evaluation of MED by a group of students who participated in the implementation of the model. The methodology is qualitative, including quantitative data. The results indicate the success of the MED for the professional competencies: reflective practitioner, cooperative work and interdisciplinary creativity, aims to integrate the EHEA.

    Tertulias pedagógicas dialógicas: Con el libro en la mano

    This article presents dialogic literary circles as a strategy for teachers' continuous professional development and describes how it is applied. The readings selected are taken from the original source and must be relevant according to critical and communicative pedagogy. A discussion group was formed to gather opinions on the advantages this technique may offer; the collective construction of knowledge or the need for feedback between theory and practice were the main ideas that came up.
