- PublicationOpen AccessAcerca de la Memoria: voces revolucionarias del Sur(2015-04-23) Zabaleta, Marta R.In this article there is postulated that the texts of women survivor of state terrorism who appear as an example, constitute important supports of the process of reconstruction of the social memory of the Southern Cone, while its production helps their narrators to get over posttraumatic syndromes, and give them the feeling of belonging to a new community, this essential stage in the recovery from his torn identity. The variety of the stylistic forms used questions the very essence of the literary canon and escapes to the slowness of the criticism. Then, in the second part, offers a concrete example of this type of writing, in the effort to reaffirm the need to dispose of the rigidity of traditional scientific writing, firmly focused on the man and adapted to their needs and generic social dominance. Se les hace difícil, y no siempre lo logran, romper con todas las elaboraciones teóricas neocoloniales (incluidos los "discursos expertos" de las "otras" mujeres) y originarias masculinas.

Discursos y políticas de sumisión, discriminación y terror(2015-04-23) Garrido Caballero, Magdalena; González Martínez, CarmenEste artículo analiza, desde una perspectiva de género, las políticas de los regímenes totalitarios en Europa, en concreto, del régimen nazi, estalinista y la dictadura franquista, políticas basadas en diferencias biológicas, de clase y en el control social.Las mujeres perdieron derechos adquiridos bajo regímenes represivos que requirieron de ellas sumisión y su rol como esposas y madres. Este discurso de la desigualdad se concretó en políticas antisemitas, la exclusión y una represión singular, abordadas a través de las memorias de las represaliadas y la historiografía especializada sobre los campos de concentración. Las medidas represivas aplicadas no lograron sus propósitos últimos y generó una identidad de resistencia: "sobrevivir" para contarlo.

As indigenous women we have a long way to go in order to move from theory topractice, from rhetoric to action and from rights to accomplishments. At the dawn of the XXIst century indigenous women have made great strides in the social, cultural, economic and political life of Panama. We have shown that we are able to demand our rights as women and as indigenous people. Despite this, indigenous women remain doubly vulnerable both in their role as individuals and as the indigenous collective. In this sense, strengthening women's rights, principally human rights and the defense of indigenous rights will benefit the development of our entire society.
