- PublicationOpen AccessEstudio del contenido de metales pesados en briófitos del área metropolitana de Barcelona(Universidad de Murcia, Servicio de Publicaciones, 1984) Perez i Obiol, Ramon; Facultad de BiologíaHighways with high intensity of traffic and other significant places of the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona were studied. We have sampled several moss species testing them by spectrophotometer of atomic absorption, determining concentrations of heavy metals and comparing different location results.

Na Penísula Ibérica(Universidad de Murcia, Servicio de Publicaciones, 1984) Sérgio, C.; Facultad de BiologíaEn el presente estudio se ha realizado la síntesis de distribución de esta especie en la Península Ibérica, aportando nuevos caracteres morfológicos que sirvan para diferenciar Gymnostomum calcareum de G. luisieri. Esta última especie se encontraba frecuentemente identificada como G. calcareum en el material recolectado de la región mediterránea y mediterráneo-atlántica. Se ha efectuado un elevado número de observaciones morfológicas, ecológicas y corológicas de ambas especies.

Brid. and Hedwigia ciliata (Hedw.) P. Beauv. has been investigated by scoring specimens from Montseny Mountains (Barcelona. Spain) (UTM: DG 46 26). Gametangial formation, fertilization, growth of the sporophytes and spore dispersa1 are correlated with seasonal variation of the environmental factors.

Some taxa of genus Grimmia Hedw. and Orthotrichum Hedw. are included at this paper: Grimmia decipiens (K.F. Schultz.) Lindb., G. laevigata (Brid.) Brid., G. orbicularis Bruch. ex Wils., G. ovalis (Hedw.) Sm., G. pulvinata (Hedw.) Sm. var. africana (Hedw.) Hook., G. trichophylla Grev.,Orthotrichum affine Brid., O. anomalum Hedw., O. cupulatum Brid., O. diaphanum Brid., 0. pallens Bruch. ex Brid., 0. pumilum Sw., O. rupestre Schwaegr. var. franzonianum (De Not.) Vent. y O. striatum Hedw. For each one the spore dimensions are taken with optical microscope observations and are studied its shape and ornamentation with S.E.M.; size and ornamentation differences are signed.
