    Enfoques de aprendizaje y rendimiento institucional y afectivo de los alumnos de la titulación de ciencias de la actividad física y del deporte

    The present research can be included in the area of Student Approaches to Learning. The aim of this study is to analize the relationship between approaches to learning and academic and afective achievement. A total of 713 students participed in the study, from five Universities, selected among 22 in with the studies of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences during 2003- 2004. For the data collection two questionnaires has been used: Student Process Questionnaire (SPQ-2F) by Biggs and Kember and Questionnaire about Personal Aspects and Academics in University Students (CAPAEU). The results show significant relationship in the affective and academic achievement and the approaches to learning adapted, being the achievement higher in both cases students who adopt a deep approach to learning: they get better qualifications and feel more satisfied.

    Necesidades formativas del profesorado universitario en el contexto de la convergencia europea

    La creación del Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior está generando importantes cambios a nivel legislativo, administrativo y pedagógico en los países comprometidos en armonizar sus sistemas universitarios. Este proceso de adaptación implica una nueva forma de organizar y evaluar las instituciones universitarias y diversifica las maneras de enseñar y de aprender. Con el propósito de conocer las opiniones del profesorado sobre las reformas que se están realizando y valorar las repercusiones en su actividad docente, hemos realizado una investigación con 1015 profesores para identificar sus necesidades formativas en diversas temáticas relacionadas con la convergencia europea. Los resultados obtenidos nos orientarán en el diseño de planes de asesoramiento y formación del profesorado universitario.

    ¿Evoluciona la educación a distancia? Las listas de distribución como protagonista de la innovación. El caso de la lista cuedistancia (cued-l)

    Las listas de distribución son uno de recursos incorporados los entornos de educación a distancia, como elemento dinamizador de las relaciones profesionales que se establecen entre sus miembros. Es más, algunas Comunidades Virtuales, integran estas listas con notable éxito de implicación de sus miembros. El presente trabajo recoge el estudio desarrollado sobre una de estas listas, la denominada CUED-L, que mantiene la Cátedra Unesco de Educación a Distancia, como órgano de relación y difusión entre los que se muestran interesados por el tema en América Latina. Con este trabajo, se pretende conocer la participación y en interés que está teniendo dicha comunidad el tema, y las áreas y contenidos que están despertando su interés en la actualidad. De este modo, valoramos la importancia que la referida institución tiene como referente específico en la configuración de una comunidad virtual (CV) referida a esta modalidad de enseñanza, tan valorada en estos momentos.

    Cómo planifican la composición escrita alumnos con sobredotación intelectual

    The present paper deals with a study aimed at providing an insight into how gifted students plan their written expression. The exploratory and qualitative investigation resorts to the “collective case study” and the “cognitive interview” to obtain the items, applying the “content analysis” in the interpretation of them. The results obtained reveal an interesting picture of the executive planning strategies activated by gifted students while producing texts, along with the difficulties they grapple with in the process. Finally, it is offered a number of general guidelines for the teaching of the planning of written expression.

    ¿Cómo hacer que un centro educativo sea inclusivo?: análisis del diseño, desarrollo y resultados de un programa formativo

    The evaluation of the design, implementation and results of the training programme “school of diversity: training materials for teachers” (Moriña, 2008) is the central theme of this article. This program is organized on three axes: inclusive education, collaboration and training school. In this regard, the contents of the training programme have been made from the conditions and characteristics of facilities that develop inclusive practices, turning the methodology around strategies based on collaboration and reflection group. To evaluate the programme has resorted to a qualitative approach, appearing in this paper evaluation conducted by a group of teachers from a Primary School. In particular, information is presented according to the following structure: an initial evaluation of needs, evaluating the design of the program, evaluating the implementation and evaluation carried out final appreciates the impact of that program. Finally, the conclusions reflect on how these training materials can help create inclusive practices.
